Burghof Lörrach

As a “house of voices” (Haus der STIMMEN), the Burghof is distinctive and iconic in the town of Lörrach. Together with the festival of VOICES, it attracts audiences from all over the region. In its cultural programme, consisting of singing and music, dancing, cabaret, literature, children’s theatre and much more, the Burghof arts centre features both the well-known and the new, both the established and the experimental, as well as demonstrating both an attachment to the region and a cosmopolitan state of mind.

Rötteln Castle

It is one of South Baden’s largest and most imposing castle ruins. 300 metres long and 30 metres wide, it extends along a mountain spur towering high above Lörrach close to the point where three countries meet. The castle complex, a beautiful panoramic view from the high castle keep, a museum, a beer garden in the lower part of the castle and a well-tended barbequing area right behind the castle make it a wonderful destination for outings for young and old.
